Gloria Faith (McClure) Day

Mrs. Gloria Faith McClure Day age 62 of Mt Vernon passed away June 10th, 2024, at the Rockcastle regional Hospital.

Gloria was Born December 21, 1961, in Berea, Kentucky to the late Shirley McClure and Juanita Falin. She attended Brodhead Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening, yard sales, watching wrestling, and drawing but most of all spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Gloria is survived by two children: Angela Day and Josh Morgan of Mt. Vernon; Charles Day and Morgan of Stanford. Six grandchildren: Abagail Day, Gracie Day, Madison Morgan, Charlee Day, Layken Day, and Tate Day. One brother Dean McClure and Debbie. Three sisters: Cassandra Falin and Bobby Lee Kirby of Conway, Shiela McClure of Mt. Vernon, and Charlotte McClure of Crab Orchard as well as a host of nieces, nephew’s friends and neighbors.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by two grandchildren Jazmine Morgan and Aubrey Morgan.

Services for Mrs. Day will be Wednesday June 12th from 5 to 8 PM at the Marvin E. Owens chapel. Funeral will be Thursday June 13th at 2 PM at the Marvin E. Owens Chapel. Brother Ralph Baker officiating. Burial will follow in the High Dry cemetery.
