Mr. Harold Denver Cox, age 70 of Mt. Vernon, Kentucky passed away after a battle with cancer on June 20, 2026.
He was a member of the Blue Springs Church of Christ.
He retired from Caterpillar Remanufacturing in Franklin, Indiana. He enjoyed being outdoors; mushroom hunting, gardening, and riding his motorcycles.
He is survived by his wife, Phyllis (Cromer) Cox, his children: Harold Denver Cox, Jr of Indianapolis, Indiana, Sheri (Leroy) Coffman of Franklin, Indiana, Candice Ford of Greenwood, Indiana, and his granddaughters: Cera Coffman of Franklin, Indiana and Madison (Sam) Maugherman of Greenwood, Indiana, his sisters: Opha Wynn and Eva Owens of Mt. Vernon, Kentucky, brothers: Estil Cox of Mt. Vernon, Kentucky and William (Lois) Cox of Greenwood, Indiana along with several nieces, nephews, and brothers and sisters in-law.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Dovie (Marler) Cox, sisters, Ada Calhoun and Christine Graves and brother, Earl Cox.
Cremation has been chosen and a graveside service will follow later; officiated by Brothers Marcus Reppert and Eric Bullock.
