Heather Gwin Bradley Baldwin of Crab Orchard, KY, departed this life on February 27, 2025. Heather was born February 1, 1995, in Somerset, KY. She graduated from Rockcastle County High School in 2013 and was married to Spencer Baldwin in August of 2014. She had three beautiful young children – Sebastian, Henry and Georgiana who were the light in her life.
Heather was active in politics and advocated for women’s rights and equality. She campaigned for Lincoln County Judge Executive in 2022 and was chairperson of the Lincoln County Democratic Party at the time of her death. She was assistant office manager at Danville Center for Health and Rehab.
Heather was a woman of strong principles who loved history, was an avid reader and a lifelong learner. She was a dedicated and loving mother who was smart, kind, thoughtful, community minded and a good and loyal friend. She was preceded in death by her beloved maternal grandfather and grandmother, Lucille and Freddie Renner, along with paternal grandmother Pauline Bradley. Left behind to mourn her passing are her children, Bash, Henry and Georgiana; her mother and stepfather, Shelly and Luke Pearson; her father, Larry Bradley; her brother, Nathan Bradley; grandparents, Jeff and Mary Pearson; and many other loving relatives, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Heather’s life was a blessing, and her memory is a treasure. Her absence in all our lives will be immeasurable.
Visitation will be Thursday, March 6, 2025, at Marvin Owens Funeral Home in Brodhead, KY, from 11am-1pm with services at 1pm. Burial will follow in Piney Grove Cemetery in Brodhead.
In lieu of flowers, friends may send contributions to a GoFundMe being set up for the care of her children.
