James Isaacs, age 82, of Brodhead, departed from this earth on Sunday, August 2nd, 2026, at his residents in Brodhead, KY.
James was born on January 14th, 1944, in Newport, Ky, to the late Leonard and Minnie Isaacs. He was of the Baptist faith and attended Paint Lick Baptist Church in Galiton Co. many years ago. James enjoyed Antiquing, Yard sales, Flea markets, Gardening, Hunting, Fishing, Playing Drums in his High School Band, and was a jack of all trades. Most of all he loved to tell a story.
Those left to mourn his passing include his Life Partner: Cathy Hale, his children; Troy Isaacs (Norma) of Hazard, KY, James Todd Issacs (Donna) of Corbin, KY, Tammy Wells (Harold) of Corbin, KY, Tonya Wise (Rick) of Louisville, KY, Robert Isaacs (Robin) of TX, Stepdaughter: Lauree Ann Farmer (Chris) of Brodhead, KY, a host of grandchildren, and great grandchildren, his sisters; Doris Combs of Orlando, Linda Smith of Burlington, KY, Betty Lionburger of Glenco, KY.
Besides his parents, James was preceded in death by his brothers; Kenney and Virgil Isaacs, one grandchild: Matthew David Traylor.
A celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date.
