James Elmer Kidwell

Mr. James Elmer Kidwell, age 42 of Berea, KY passed away Wednesday, June 30, 2021, at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, KY.

James was born October 21, 1978, in Mt. Vernon, KY to Larry Ellis Kidwell and the late Rose Elaine (Wilburn) McKinney. He was a member of Watts Chapel Baptist Church, enjoyed the outdoors, and trading cars and 4-wheelers.

Those left to celebrate his life are his father:  Larry Kidwell (Tojnia) of Crab Orchard, KY; four children:  James Logan Kidwell (Jacklynn) of Crab Orchard, KY, Kaden Ellis Allen Kidwell of Mt. Vernon, KY, Parker Joshua Blake Kidwell of Mt. Vernon, KY, Landyn Blake Kidwell of Berea, KY; one grandson:  Silas Creed Kidwell; step-brother:  Craig Lyons (Brittany) of Danville, KY; one sister: Monica Renae Randolph (Carl Ray); and one step-sister:  Brittney Groves (Matthew) of Danville, KY; as well as aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and neighbors.

Besides his mother, he was preceded in death by an infant son:  Tanner Ayden Kidwell.

Visitation for James will be Tuesday, July 6, 2021, from 10am until time for the funeral service at 2pm at Valley Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Wilmott Cemetery.
