James F. Price

OBITUARY NOTICE:

Mr. James F. Price, age 70 of Mt. Vernon, departed this life on Sunday, September 10, 2023 at UK Chandler Hospital in Lexington, KY.

He was born on July 15, 1953 in  Sand Spring,KY  a son of the late R.S. and Gilberta Mink Price.  He had previously been a Manager at Cox Hardware and found great joy in watching TV (westerns and National Geographics).  James was a member of Climax Christian Church.  On May 15, 1976 , he was united in marriage to Brenda L. Powell, and they enjoyed many years together prior to her passing.

Those left to celebrate his passing are his brothers & sisters:  Phyllis Childress of Seymour, Ind., Ruby Day of Brodhead, KY; Bobby Price of Seymour, Ind; Wendell Price of Mt. Vernon, KY; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda , and his  brother-in-law, William Day.
