James Robert Miller

James Robert Miller, age 58, of Brodhead, KY. passed away Monday, June10th, 2024 at Hospice of Lake Cumberland in Somerset, KY.

He was born on July 28th, 1965, in Mt. Vernon, KY son of James Casper and Nancy (Overbay) Miller. He was a member of First Baptist Church Mt Vernon, KY

James enjoyed many hobbies. A few included sky diving, scuba diving, amateur pilot,  beekeeping, horses, motorcycles, photography, and precision shooting. He looked forward to retiring and spending his days fishing.

Those left to celebrate his life are his wife of 30 years: Dale Ann (Hasty) Miller, his father: James C. Miller, two brothers: Steve (Lisa),Micheal Miller, one sister: Kimberly (Jesse).

One Daughter: Samantha Carter, two sons: Aaron (Brittany), Joshua Miller. One stepdaughter: Danielle Sowder (Somchai), One stepson: Joshua Sowder (Nikki). Grandchildren: Cohen, Cory Carter, Caleb, Isabella, Octavia Miller, Jasmine, Jared Barron, and Grayson Sowder. He had a large, loving family of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends he made along the way.

He was preceded in death by his mother Nancy Overbay Miller.

Visitation for James will be Friday June 14th, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Marvin Owens Chapel,  Brodhead, KY. Funeral service following at 1pm, pastor Dennis Wilder officiating. Burial at Oakhill Cemetery, Brodhead, KY.
