Mr. James Theodore “Ted” Owens, age 51, of Brodhead, KY passed away Friday, September 3, 2021, at his residence.

Ted was born July 23, 1970, in Mt. Vernon, KY to the late Everett Owens and Brenda (Bullock) Owens Hasty. He was a Veteran of the United States Army and enjoyed rock collecting.

Those left to celebrate his life are his mother: Brenda Hasty; two brothers: Everett Owens II of Mt. Vernon, KY, Blake Hasty and wife Desiree of Brodhead, KY; and one sister: Brandi Hasty Fournier and wife Jackie of Maine.

He was preceded in death by his father: Everett Owens; and one sister: Melanie Owens.

Cremation was chosen and no services are planned at this time.
