Janelle Rhea (Thompson) Beaty

OBITUARY NOTICE:

Mrs. Janelle Rhea Thompson Beaty, age 80, departed this life Sunday, April 9th, 2023 at the Terrace in Berea, Ky.

She was born on June 2, 1942 in Eubank, Ky., a daughter of the late Casper Virgil and Mannie Alice Larkin Thompson. She was a member of the Fairview Church of Christ at Willailla, Ky. She found great joy in reading and studying the Bible, caring for her flowers, spending time with her family , particularly her grandchildren.  Janelle owned and operated her own custom drapery business; and had worked for Montag’s Custom Draperies for many years.  On April 24, 1964 she was united to Bobby Dale Beaty and from that union came two sons: Gregory Dale and James Dale.

Those left to celebrate her life are her husband of 58 years, Bobby Dale Beaty of Mt. Vernon, KY. Her sons: Gregory Dale Beaty and wife Susie of Hendersonville, NC; and James Dale Beaty and wife Angela of Knoxville, TN. Her grandchildren: Jerin Gregory Beaty and wife Brittany; Julian Gregory Beaty, Jensen Gregory Beaty, and Jaylen Gregory Beaty. As well as a host of nieces/nephews, friends and neighbors.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters: Rozella Faye Thompson Strunk, Ozella Maye Thompson Lawson, Leaoma Ann Thompson Smith Johnson, Lucille Belle Thompson Douglas, Dollie Beatrice Thompson Stansberry; brothers: Kenneth Larkin Thompson, Goble Jefferson Thompson, Lowell Orville Thompson, and Raymond Neal Thompson.

Visitation for Mrs. Janelle Beaty will be Sunday, April 16, 2023 at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals from 6-9PM.  AND Monday, April 17, 2023 at Mihovk-Rosenacker Funeral Home from 6-8PM.  Funeral services will be Tuesday at 12Noon at Mihovk-Rosenacker Funeral Home with Bro. Jeff Herrin officiating.  Burial will follow in the Resthaven Cemetery.

Donation/contributions in Janelle’s memory may be made to ones favorite charity, Fairview Church of Christ Cemetery or Hospice.
