Janice Lucille Lovell

Mrs. Janice Lucille Lovell age 84, of Mount Vernon passed away Sunday June 16th, 2024, surrounded by her family. She was born on February 12th, 1940, in Rockcastle County to the late Ott and Katie Renner Kirby. She enjoyed spending time with her family, shopping, cooking, and going to the beauty salon weekly.

Survivors are: one daughter: Patricia Faye Childress. One grandson; Roger Brian Childress (Crystal). Two great-grandchildren; Carley Raye Childress and Riley Burton Childress. One Great-Great-Granddaughter Presley Kate Childress. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years William F. Lovell (Billy), two brothers, Sherman, and Tom Kirby, and by five sisters: Hazel Payne, Alma Hayes, Faye Lovell, Marie Kirby, and Jewel Marlow.

Funeral services for Mrs. Janice Lucille Lovell will be conducted on Wednesday June 19, from 12-2 PM. Funeral services starting at 2 PM with Bro. Jeff Parker officiating. Burial will follow in the Ott Kirby Cemetery.

Pallbearers: Riley Childress, Bobby Lovell, Billy Lovell, Tommy Lovell, Jeremy Rowe, and Derrel Payne.
