Janice Kathy Winkler

Ms. Janice Kathy Winkler, age 67, of Brodhead, KY, passed away Thursday, December 2, 2021, at the Rockcastle County Regional Hospital.

Kathy was born February 10, 1954, in Danville, KY, a daughter of the late Carl Winkler, and Dovie Alcorn. She was a member of Mt. Vernon Church of God and enjoyed singing and playing guitar.

Those left to celebrate her life are her daughters: Mary Kathryn Browning of Richmond, KY, and Gayle Browning of Mt. Vernon, KY; her grandchildren: Phillip Dwayne Cody, Tiffany Nicole Cody, Breann Marie Clark, and Michael Huston Clark; two great-grandchildren: Gabriella Rose and Ellen Grace; three brothers: Cledith Winkler & Linda of Bee Lick, KY, Carl Mike Winkler & Darlene of Eubank, KY, and Rick Winkler of Brodhead, KY; two sisters: Linda Lou Sanders of Climax, KY, and Geraldine McGuire & Boyd of Brodhead, KY, as well as a host of many family, friends, and neighbors.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Services for Ms. Kathy Winkler will be held at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals, on Monday, December 6, 2021, beginning with the visitation at 11am, until the time of the funeral service at 2pm, with Bobby Owens officiating. Burial will follow in the Oak Hill Cemetery.
