Jaxon Mateo Bloomingdale

Jaxon Mateo Bloomingdale, 16 days of age, gained his heavenly angel wings on August 25, 2023..   

He was born on August 9, 2023, the precious son of Johnathan Ray Bloomingdale and Amy Clark Bloomingdale.

Although Jaxon’s time here on earth was brief, the love and joy he brought to everyone who met him was of great abundance. Jaxon had the most beautiful blue-turning-brown eyes, the cutest forehead wrinkles, and always made the grumpiest and silliest faces, hence his nickname “Mr. Grumpus”.  Jaxon loved when his big sissy helped to feed and burp him; laying on his mommy’s chest; and watching football games and playing video games with his daddy.

Those left to celebrate his life are his parents, Johnathan and Amy Bloomingdale of Brodhead, KY, and his sister, Aspynn Nevaya Bloomingdale.  His maternal grandparents: Tanya Clark of Brodhead, KY. and Steve Clark of Colorado Springs, CO. His paternal grandmother: Jessica Bloomingdale of Stafford, VA; His great grandparents: Jimmy Clark, Brenda Nicholson, and Anthony Gaughan;  His special great aunt: “ Aunt Sissy”(LaJoy Graves), and great aunt, Sandi Himes; His aunts and uncles: Derek (Bridget) and Spencer Clark, Shawn Covell, Mikie & Jayden Bloomingdale, Brandon & Tiffany Nicholson, Shelley (Scott) Granger, Shakeitha (Hector) Ramirez, Caitlin (Trent) Burchett, and McKenzi Himes; As well as a village of cousins and special friends.

Jaxon was preceded in death by his great grandparents: Eva Clark, Preston & Alene Parrett, Michael Nicholson, and Robert “Bob” Bloomingdale. He was also preceded in death by his uncle, Tre’von Bloomingdale, and great aunts, Pat Himes (Jack) and Kathy Clark, and his great uncle, Randall Himes.
