Jefferson D Smith

Jefferson Davis Smith, age 43, of Mt. Vernon, KY, passed away on Saturday, November 8th, 2025, at U.K. Chandler Hospital in Lexington, KY. He was born on July 21st, 1982, in Mt. Vernon, KY. He is the son of Tony Smith (Tambra) and Donna Darlene Howard Smith. On March 7th, 2015, he married Caitlion Burke Smith.

Jeff served our country in the Marine Corps and was a truck driver by trade. He was a Free Mason. Jeff was of the Christian Faith, and he attended Lighthouse Assembly of God Church. He enjoyed fishing and hunting, and spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his Wife: Caitlion Burke Smith, his parents; Tony and Donna Darlene Howard Smith, his brother: Anthony Smith (Rachele) of Mt Vernon, one nephew: Jaxson Smith.

Visitation for Jeff will be Wednesday, November 12th, 2025, at Lighthouse Assembly of God Church from 6-9pm, Funeral service will be Thursday, November 13th, 2025, at 1pm with Bro. Tim Hampton officiating. Burial will follow in Howard Cemetery.
