Jerald L Stogsdill

Jerald Lee Stogsdill, age 64, of Mt Vernon, Ky. departed this life on Monday, December 30th, 2024, at his residence in Mt Vernon, Ky.

He was born on March 9th, 1960, in Somerset, Ky, a son of the late Herman and Edith Pauline Harris Stogsdill. On June 25th, 1993, he married Emmie Jewell Cox Stogsdill, and they enjoyed 32 years together. As a child Jerald attended Piney Grove Baptist Church #1 in Somerset, Ky. He loved his dogs, trading guns of any kind, playing guitar, and especially spending time with family and friends. 

Those left to celebrate his life are his wife of 32 years: Emmie Jewell Stogsdill, his children; Tim Renner of Somerset, Terry Renner of Mt Vernon, his grandchildren; Jessie Renner (Christa) of Brodhead, Emily Renner (Patience) of Mt Vernon, great grandchildren; Avery Renner, Addy Renner, Easton Greer, sisters; Mary Lou (Clint) Ridener of Ferguson, Brenda Miller (Jerry) of Hanover, IN, Sandra Stogsdill of Somerset, Judy Ridner (Doug) of Somerset, sister in laws, Sharon Stogsdill of Somerset, Elaine Baker of Somerset, Elsie Mullins of Sand Springs, brother in law Milton Cox of Sand Springs, long time friend, Lincoln Meece (Buddy) and his canine companions, Jack, Cash, and Charlie, as well as many nephews, nieces, and extended family and friends.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by brothers; Herman Mitchell, Charles, and Gary Stogsdill, one sister: Connie Sue Wolfe Lay, brother-in-law: Bill Wolfe, sister-in-law: Sharon Elizabeth Stogsdill, nephews; Clayton Stogsdill and Brandon Wilson.
