Jerry Harper

Mr. Jerry Lee Harper, age 83, of Brodhead, Ky, passed from this life on Saturday, February 1st, 2025.  He was born on September 25th, 1941, a son of the late Howard and Lorene Manus Harper, and was raised by Sam Manus.

Jerry was united in marriage to June McNeely Harper and from that union came seven children, Howard, Lee, Felicia, Lori and Tim, Sheila, and Debbie. He was of the Baptist faith. Jerry enjoyed watching T.V., mowing his yard and fishing.

Those left to celebrate his life are his children; Howard (Missy) Harper of Winchester, Lee Duncan (Jaylyn) of Florida, Felicia Duncan of Cincinnati, OH, Lori (Gordon) Tate of Richmond, Tim Duncan of Colorado, his twin sister: Jetta Gentry of Maretburg, KY, fourteen grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild, a sister in law ; Anna Yadon (John) and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife: June McNeely Harper, his children; Sheila Lovell, Debbie Duncan, his brothers: Wayne Manus and Bobby Harper, his sister Jean Caldwell.

Visitation for Jerry will be on Friday, February 7th, from 11am to 12pm at Owens Chapel. Funeral service at 12pm with Bro. Luther Allen officiating. Burial will follow in Cresthaven Cemetery.
