Jesse Edward Taylor

Mr. Jesse Edward “Eddie” Taylor, age 63 of Berea, KY, passed away Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at St. Joseph East in Lexington, KY.

Eddie was born December 11, 1957 in Loveland, OH to William Taylor and the late Juanita Bradley Taylor Mason.  He served in the United States Air Force, was a member of Maretburg Baptist Church and retired from Sherwin-Williams as a manufacturing technician.  He married Leda Raye Barnett on September 10, 1983 and from that union came one son: Matthew.

Those left to celebrate his life are his wife:  Leda Taylor; his son:  Matthew Taylor and wife Jessica of Mt. Vernon, KY; one granddaughter:  Alexis Taylor; his father:  William Taylor of Brodhead, KY; one brother:  Billy Taylor and wife Diane of Berea, KY; and one sister:  Michelle McCormick and husband Dave of Phenix City, AL; as well as nieces, nephews, friends, and neighbors.

He was preceded in death by his mother:  Juanita Bradley Taylor Mason.

Visitation for Eddie Taylor will be Sunday, April 11, 2021 from 6-9pm at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals. Funeral service will be held Monday, April 12, 2021 at 1pm at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals with Bro. Wayne Harding officiating. Burial will follow in the Oakhill Cemetery.  Pallbearers are Johnny Bradley, Brad Mullins, Jay Coates, Jordan Burton, Shelly lee Mullins, and David Taylor.
