John LaFevers Obituary

John Leslie LaFevers, 61, of Brodhead, Ky, passed away Sunday, April 26 at the Rockcastle County Hospital after a long illness.

John Leslie was a long-time employee of NAACO (Hyster) MFG in Berea, Ky, loved farming, hunting, truck pulling, and spending time with his family, friends, and neighbors.

He is survived by his longtime companion Lisha Turner of Brodhead, KY. Also surviving are one brother, Larry (Janie) LaFevers of Monticello, KY. One nephew, John Curtis (Bridgett) LaFevers and their children Brice and Leah, also of Monticelllo, Ky. One special uncle and aunt, James "Dickie" and Brenda Edwards LaFevers of Crab Orchard, KY, and many friends, neighbors, and coworkers.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Amanda Kincer LaFevers and a brother Sonny who died in infancy.

A private, graveside service will be held at Piney Grove Cemetery.

A memorial service will be planned at a later date when conditions permit.

John Leslie's passing will leave a hole in our hearts forever.
