June (McNeely) Harper

Mrs. June Harper, age 77, of Brodhead, KY, wife of Jerry Lee Harper, passed away Sunday, Feb. 23, 2020 at the Stanford Care and Rehabilitation in Stanford, KY.

She was born on June 30, 1942 in Van, W.Va., a daughter of the late Sidney Johnson McNeely and Mammie Elizabeth Warner McNeely.  June found great joy in listening to gospel music, flower gardening, and quilting. 

Those left to celebrate her life are: her husband, Jerry Lee Harper of Brodhead, KY; her children: Felicia Duncan of Cincinnati, OH; Lorei Tate (Gordon) of Richmond, KY; Tim Duncan of Pueblo, CO; Lee Duncan (Jaylyn) of Florida and Howard Harper (Missy) of Brodhead, KY. Her sisters: Anna Yaden (John) of Demossville, KY; as well as a host of grandchildren,great-grandchildren, nieces/nephews, friends and neighbors.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by daughters: Sheila Lovell, Debbie Duncan, infant Cecilia Duncan; her brothers: Jr. McNeely, William McNeely and James McNeely. Her sisters: Pauline McNeely, Lulie Bowling, and Loretta Robinson.

Visitation for Mrs. June Harper will be Thursday, February 27, 2020 from 10am-2pm at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals.

Funeral services will be Thursday, February 27, 2020 at 2:00 pm at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals. Burial will follow in the Cresthaven Cemetery.
