Karen Bullock

On May 24, 2023, Karen Fay Bullock went to be with the Lord at the Compassionate Care Center in Richmond, Ky. after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

She is the spouse of Lester Harold Bullock and loving mother and best friend of Karla Kay Bullock.  She is the daughter of the late Glenn and Ruby Sayers.  Karen is a member of the Freedom Baptist Church in Mt. Vernon, Ky. where she dedicated her life to the Lord at an early age. She later obtained her Associates degree in business and began her career at the Citizens Bank in Brodhead, Ky. and then later transitioned to the Mt. Vernon Bank, now known as Community Trust Bank, where she retired after 28 years of service.  In her free time she enjoyed being with her family, playing with her dogs, fishing and riding the golf cart on the farm.  She also enjoyed lounging around the house, watching her  favorite television shows and movies which included old time westerns.

Those left to celebrate her life are her husband of 55 years, Lester Harold Bullock of Mt. Vernon, Ky; her daughter: Karla Kay Bullock of Mt. Vernon, Ky. As well as a host of friends and neighbors.

Visitation for Mrs. Karen Bullock will be Tuesday, May 30, 2023 from 11AM-2PM at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals with Funeral services at 2PM with  Bro. Barry Hurst  officiating.
