Kenneth Ray Higgins

Mr. Kenneth Ray Higgins Jr., age 69, of Orlando, Ky, passed from this life on Sunday, March 8th, 2026. He was the son of the late Kenneth Ray and Janice Lee Carter Higgins. On March 20th, 1976, Kenneth married Lisa Debbie Stewart Higgins and from that union came three children, Melinda, Adam, and James.

Kenneth was a Butcher at Carters Market for many years and a clerk at Castle Inn Motel, He was of the Pentecostal faith and attended Poplar Gap Pentecostal Church. Kenneth was a Free Mason, and he enjoyed Fishing, Hunting, and watching Seinfeld. He loved his dogs; Winston, Sam, Bristol, and Pute, several cats, but most of all he loved spending time with his Family and Friends. He enjoyed Alice Cooper and Pink Floyd and listening to all older songs, he enjoyed playing them loud!!!

Kenneth is survived by his children; Melinda Gail (Joe) Gates of Livingston, Adam Ray Higgins of Orlando, James Earl (Crystal) Higgins of Berea, his grandchildren; Aaron (Cheyenne) Brown, Ausin (Hannah Ferguson), Autumn (Trevor) Johnson, Lloyd (Chelsey Barnett) Higgins, Dorothy Higgins, Dakota Higgins, Lillyann Higgins, his great grandchildren; Willis, Tristan, Tilly, Tate, Penelope, Genevive, Kinsley, and Ella, his sister: Tina Higgins of Mt Vernon,

Beside his parents Kenneth was preceded in death by his wife: Lisa Debbie Higgins, his brother: Gary Higgins, his grandchild: Landon Higgins.

A Graveside Service for Kenneth will be on Thursday, March 12th, 2026, at Briarfield Cemetery at 2pm with Bro. Jason Medley officiating.
