Kenneth Shafer

Mr. Kenneth Shafer, age 64, of Brodhead, KY, passed away Sunday, March 28, 2021 at his residence.

Kenneth was born March 31, 1956 in Brodhead to the late Charlie and Molly (Joseph) Shafer. He was a member of Brodhead Baptist Church, enjoyed working on clocks, woodworking, drag racing, and fishing.

Those left to celebrate his life are two brothers:  Jimmy Shafer of Brodhead, Eddie Shafer and wife Joyce of Gum Sulfur, KY; two sisters:  Betty Singleton of Brodhead, KY, Emma Shafer Crank of Crab Orchard, KY; and one special great-great-niece: Blake; as well as nieces, nephews, friends, and neighbors.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by six brothers: Junior, Bobby, Johnny, Donald, Roy, and Terry Shafer.

Visitation for Kenneth will be Tuesday, March 30, 2021 from 4pm until time for the funeral service at 6pm at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals with Bro. Ralph Baker officiating.
