Kenneth Ray Taylor, age 76, departed this life on Monday, March 23rd, 2026, at Baptist Health in Lexington, KY. He was born on April 27th, 1949, a son to the late James Edward and Zula Mae Shepherd Taylor.
Kenny was an Army Veteran and retired from Okonite Cable in Richmond, KY. He was of the Baptist faith, and he was a big U.K. Wildcats basketball fan and he enjoyed traveling, doing yardwork (mowing), but most of all he enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Those left to celebrate his life are his children; David (Beth) Taylor of Berea, Tracy (Jeff) Mink of Richmond, Melissa (Michael) Toler of Lancaster. His grandchildren; Logan Taylor, Levi Taylor, Emily Mink, Melanie Mink, Josh Toler, Jathan (Susie) Toler, Haley Driscoll, his great grandchildren; Lilly Taylor, Tristin Toler, Carson Toler, Izabella Toler, Alexa Toler, Elijah Strunk, Raelyn Strunk.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife: Ima Jean McClure Taylor, his brothers; William, Wayne, and Robert Taylor.
Visitation for Kenny will be Saturday, March 28th, 2026, at Owens Chapel from 11am-2pm. Funeral service will follow at 2pm with Bro. George Renner officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.
Casket bearers are Matthew, Logan, Levi Taylor, Emily and Melanie Mink, and Gavin Boggs.
