LOIS IRENE (CHASTEEN) McHONE

Lois C. McHone, age 82 of Livingston, Ky. departed this life on Sunday, May 4, 2025 at St. Joe Berea Hospital.

She was born on October 22, 1942 in Mt. Vernon, Ky., a daughter of the late Cal and Myrtle Abney Chasteen.  She was a homemaker who was of the Baptist Faith that enjoyed spending time with her kids and grandkids.

Those left to celebrate her life are her children: Renee Fredricks of Berea; Thomas Dooley (Gina) of Berea; April Lynn McHone (Joey) of Mt. Vernon; Addie Long (Chris) of Mt. Vernon; Misty McHone (Jeff Isaacs) of Mt. Vernon; Donna Hellard (James) of Livingston; a host of  grandchildren, special caregiver grandchildren: Haley and Brooklyn Mink; numerous great grandchildren; as well as a host of nieces/nephews, friends and neighbors.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by children: Cheryl Chasteen; James Dooley; Calvin Dooley; Arnold McHone; and Darrell McHone.
