Laraine Barron Bullock, age 86, of Mt Vernon, Ky, passed away Monday, February 1st, 2026, at Compassionate Care Center in Richmond, Ky.
Laraine was born June 9th, 1939, in Blue Springs, Ky, a daughter of the late Charles Houston and Ethel Mink Barron. On June 30th, 1955, she married Marvin Kenneth Bullock (2009) and from that union came three children: Kenneth, Tammy, and Charles.
Laraine worked for RTEC for 20 years and she was a member of Walnut Grove Church of Christ. She loved her church family. She loved her children and grandchildren very much; she would call two or three times a day to check on everyone. She loved socializing with the senior citizens group, going to eat with them, playing games, and running around with Bonnie Barron.
She is survived by her children; Kenneth Randall Bullock (Frances) of Kings Mt, Tammy Bray (Ricky) of Mt Vernon, Charles Bullock (Emily) of Mt. Vernon, her grandchildren; Josh Bray (Jana) of Mt Vernon, Matthew Bray (Morgan) of Mt Vernon, Zach Bullock of Kings Mountain, Jennifer Joseph (Ernie) of Richmond, Cameron Bullock of Mt Vernon, Caleb Bullock of Brodhead, Chloe Bullock of Brodhead, Sophie Bullock of Mt Vernon, Hadley Bullock of Mt Vernon, Barrett Bullock of Mt Vernon, her great grandchildren; Trapper, Isla, Henry, and Clara Bray, Kaden and Kadence Bullock, Randall, Daniel, and Emily Fight, Jenna and Jalen Abbott. Her brother: Russell Barron (Ann) of McKee.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband; Marvin Kenneth Bullock (2009), her child: Michael Darren Bullock, Her brother Paul Barron, her grandchild: Beth Ann Kelley.
Visitation for Laraine will be Thursday, February 5th, 2026, at Owens Chapel, from 11 - 1pm. Funeral service will follow at 1pm with Bro. Ovie Baker officiating. Burial will follow in Freedom Cemetery.
