Laura Frances (Newcomb) Hensley

Mrs. Laura Frances Newcomb Hensley age 58 of Livingston passed away Monday June 23, 2025 at Rockcastle Regional Hospital.

Frances was born August 1, 1966, to the late Leslie and Mary Childress Newcomb in Lancaster KY. On Oct 10, 1981, she married Oscar Elijah Hensley and from that union came two children, Bobby Joe Hensley and Mary Faye (Pete) Newcomb, all of Livingston.

Frances attended Calloway Holiness then later at Full Gospel House of Care. She loved spending time with family and friends but most of all her grandchildren.

Besides her husband and children, she is also survived by five grandchildren: Kisha Lynn Newcomb, Ryan David Newcomb, Bailey Carl Joe Hensley, Brianna Faith Hensley, and Bobby Lee Hensley. One great grandchild Millie Lou Newcomb, one brother Charles Randall of Richmond KY, mother-in-law Wanda Hensley, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and neighbors.

Besides her parents she is preceded in death by son James Eligah Hensley, brothers Robert Leslie and Johnny Lee Newcomb, Sister Sylvia Lou Lear, Nephew Randall Lee Agee, sister in laws Edna Newcomb, Laura Simpson, father-in-law Oscar Hensley.

Services for Mrs. Hensley will be Thursday, June 26, 2025 at Calloway Holiness Church from 6-9pm with funeral services Friday June 27, 2025, starting at 2 PM. Brothers Roger Pigg and Philip Doan Officiating. Burial will follow at Briarfield Cemetery.

Pallbearers: Pete Newcomb, Ryan Newcomb, Bailey Hensley and Bobby Lee Hensley.
