Linda Jean (McClure) Durham

Mrs. Linda Jean McClure Durham, age 64, wife of Boyd Durham of Mt. Vernon, KY; passed away Monday, October 19th, 2020 at the Rockcastle Regional Hospital in Mt. Vernon, KY.

She was born on March 12, 1956 in Mt. Vernon, KY, a daughter of the late Den and Mary (Isaacs) McClure. She was of the Baptist faith; she enjoyed dancing, shopping, family, grandkids, canning, holidays with family, and singing.

Those left to celebrate her life are: her husband Boyd Durham of whom she married on December 7, 1979, celebrated 40 years of marriage of Mt. Vernon, KY; her children: Boyd Durham, II (Rebecca) of Mt. Vernon, KY; April Powell (Brad) of Mt. Vernon, KY; Austin Stewart (Morgan) of Mt. Vernon, KY; and Alexis Stewart of London, KY, Tim Durham (Michelle) of Cincinnati, OH; Randy Durham of Cincinnati, OH; George Durham of Lexington, KY; ; her grandchildren: Haylee Durham, Dawson Durham, Rhonda Hopkins, Amber and LaDori Durham, and Ivy Lawrence; four great-grandchildren; two special family members: Lisa Mason and Denton McFerron as well as a host of nieces/nephews, friends and neighbors.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters: Elizabeth Barton, Evelyn McFerron, and Lois Mullins; two children: Wayne Junior Durham and Stacy Lynn Durham.

Visitation for Mrs. Linda J. Durham will be Thursday, October 22, 2020 from 6-9P.M. at the Red Hill Baptist Church. Funeral services will be Friday, October 23, 2020 at 1P.M. at the Red Hill Baptist Church with Bro. Ova Baker officiating. Burial will follow in the Red Hill Cemetery.
