Major Dale "Pat" Chandler

Major Dale "Pat" Chandler, age 73, passed away on January 8, 2026, in Lehigh Acres, Florida. Born on August 1, 1952, in Berea, Kentucky, he led a life defined by service and devotion.

Dale served honorably in the United States Air Force for 26 years, rising to the rank of Major before retiring. His distinguished military career reflected his steadfast commitment to duty and earned him the respect of those with whom he served. 

 He was a loving father to his son Sean Chandler and daughter-in-law Rosa Chandler; daughters Carlye Chandler and Meghan Haulk. He also took great pride in being a grandfather to six grandchildren whose lives were brightened by his presence.

Dale was preceded in death by his beloved wife Christy Chandler, his mother Shirley Chandler, and his grandmother Gertrude Chandler.  Their memories remained close to him throughout his life. May the memory of Major Dale "Pat" Chandler bring comfort and strength to all who knew and loved him. 

Memorial services will be held on March 21, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. at Marvin E. Owens Funeral Home, Brodhead, KY.  Family and friends are welcome to join us in remembering and honoring his life.
