Marion McCreary

Marion McCreary, age 57 of Mt. Vernon, Ky. passed away Thursday, August 8, 2019 at his residence.

He was born on Feb. 14, 1962 in Pineville, Ky. a son of the late Bernard McCreary and Alma Jean Wilder McCreary.  He had worked for a  commercial contracting HVAC and Concrete Business.  Marion was of the Pentecostal faith, and found great joy in small engines and auto mechanics.

Those left to celebrate his life his children: Craig McCreary of Calloway, Ky; and Sonya Nichole McCreary of Daytona Beach, Fla. His mother:  Alma McCreary of Mt. Vernon, Ky; His brothers: Bernie McCreary of Middletown, Ohio and Lyle McCreary of Sun City, Az. As well as a host of nieces/nephews, friends and neighbors.

Besides his father, Bernard McCreary, he was preceded in death by a brother, Randy McCreary.

Visitation for Marion McCreary will be Sunday, August 11, 2019 from 10 A.M. till time of Funeral Service at 1 P.M. at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals Chapel with Bro. Rick Reynolds officiating.

Burial will be in the Upland Cemetery in Harlan, Kentucky
