Marjorie Ann (Bailey) Rose

Mrs. Marjorie Ann Rose, age 64, of Brodhead, Ky. departed this life on Sunday, June 11, 2023 at Rockcastle Regional Hospital.

She was born on October 30, 1958 in Cincinnati, Ohio, a daughter of the late Walter and Mary Ring Bailey.  Margie was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother who found great joy in crafting, craft groups, sewing and her grandchildren.  She was a member of Brodhead Christian Church.  On November 7, 1981 she was united in marriage to Teddy Rose, and they enjoyed 41 years together.

Those left to celebrate her life are: her husband, Teddy Rose of Brodhead, Ky; her children: John Koenig, and Courtney May and Travis of Lancaster, Ky; her grandchildren: Myca , Paige and Johnny Koenig; Spencer and Harper May. Her brother: Bobby Leach and Wendy of Cincinnati, Oho; her sister: Donna McCarthy of Cincinnati, Ohio; as well as host of nieces/nephews, friends and neighbors.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 17, 2023 from 11AM-1PM at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals with Bro. Shannon Franklin officiaating.
