Mary (Bryant) Durham

Ms. Mary Bryant Durham, age 74, of Mt. Vernon, KY passed away on Friday, February 25, 2022, due to a tragic automobile accident.

Mary was born in Mt. Vernon, KY, on May 19, 1947, a daughter of the late Robert (Bob) and Martha May Bullock Bryant. She was of the Baptist faith and was a member of Northside Baptist Church. She enjoyed traveling and playing bingo.

Those left to celebrate her life are her children: Denvin Miller and Becky of LaFollette, TN and Regina Capilla and Carlos of Parsons, TN; seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; a brother: Larry Dale Bryant and Rose of Scottsville, KY; a sister Fannie Howard of Richmond, IN; special sister: Margie Harris, Pam McFerron, and Laurie Gray; as well as a host of friends and neighbors.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her fiancé Eugene Haight; a daughter Mary Marie Clear; and six siblings: Mary Elizabeth Bryant, Dorothy Louise Bryant, Bill Bryant, Charles Bryant, Willie Bryant, and Jim Miller.

Funeral services for will be held at the Marvin E. Owens Home for funerals on Wednesday, March 2, 2022, beginning with the visitation from 11am -2pm, followed by the funeral service at 2pm, with Jack Weaver officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in honor of Mary, to Hospice.
