Mary Elizabeth Owens, age 87 of Brodhead, Ky. departed this life on Tuesday, June 20, 2023 at Stanford Health and Rehabilitation in Stanford, Ky.

She was born on Nov. 27, 1936 in Brodhead, Ky., a daughter of the late Warren and Beulah Wilson. She was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed spending time with her cats.

Those left to celebrate her life is her son, Johnny Owens of Brodhed, Ky. Her grandchildren: Breanna, Elizabeth, and Lea Owens, and Jacob Mullins.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Owens.

At her request, cremation rites were chosen. A memorial service may be scheduled at a later date.
