Maudell Combs

Maudell Combs, 84 of Brodhead, Kentucky passed away at her home on October 22, 2021. She was the widow of Emery Carl Combs.

She was born May 8, 1937 at Acup Creek in Hazard, Kentucky to Bradley and Ollie Combs. She was the 10th of 11 children.

She is survived by her daughters, Carla Hargett (Todd), Mary Moszetta Vincent (Mark Thomas), Gina Combs; four granddaughters, Nikki Stump (Dustin), Savannah Hensley (Rodney), Haley Vincent and Devon Vincent; seven great-grandchildren; Maddox and Malachi Stump, Anna, Kaylee, Lucas, Meadow and Daniel Hensley. Also surviving is a special sister Addie Mullins as well as many other family members and friends.

She was most proud of being a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and wife of Emery Carl for 51 years. She was a member of The Berea Church of Christ.

The family would like to offer a heartfelt thank you to her special caretakers, Phyllis Polly, Nancy Hughes, Shirley Pankey and her Hospice nurse, Leslie.

Visitation will be Tuesday, October 26, 2021, from 5-7pm at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, October 27, 2021, at 1:30pm at Camp Nelson National Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Todd Hargett, Mark Thomas, Rodney Hensley,  Dustin Stump,  Zach Day and Jordan Fritz.
