Melody Elaine (Helton) McKinney

Melody Elaine Helton Mckinney, age 74, of Berea, Ky. departed this life into the loving arms of Jesus on Thursday, February 20th, 2025, at her U.K. Chandler Medical Center in Lexington, KY.

She was born on November 16th, 1950. A daughter of the late Clinton and Jean Whitley Helton. She attended 1016 Holiness Church in Berea, KY. Melody enjoyed watching gameshows and working word search puzzles. She loved telling passed stories and remembering all the laughs and good times shared together. She was a precious and loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, she will be greatly missed by all.

Those left to celebrate her life are her children; Staci Carpenter (David) of Berea, Traci Ramsey (Dwayne) of Mt Vernon, her grandchildren; Michael Carpenter (Brittany) of Berea, John David Carpenter of Berea, her great grandchild: Charlotte Rose Carpenter, her brother: Clint Helton of OH, her sisters; Sheila King (Tim) of OH, Bonnie Webb (Tony) of OH, Gale Zoller (Fred) of FL.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother: Alan Helton.

A  Celebration of Life was conducted Sat. March 8, 2025 at Freedom Cemetery with Bro. Randal Adams officiating.
