Michael John Flara

Michael John Flara, 65, of Brodhead, Kentucky passed away peacefully in his home on May 22, 2025. He enjoyed spending time with God, family, watching sports, and playing golf. He will be greatly missed. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle. He is survived by his wife Sherry; his children Ben Flara and Molly Flara (Ryan Maier) and her children Morgan Vera (Shawn) and Mallory Hamm (Jarrett). His grandchildren Madeline, Lila, Bettyann, and soon to be born Declan. His siblings Debbie Flara (Patrick Kelleher), Fred Flara (Sheri Johanson), David Flara (Charlene), Joseph Flara, Jimmy McCauley (Melissa), Jennifer Robbins (Michael). His nieces and nephews Scott Matthews, Christina Aliotti (Joey), Deanna Malone (Michael), David Lee (Danielle), Trip, Marshall, and River McCauley, Kara and Cassandra Robbins. His great-nieces and nephews Adrianna Matthews, Calder and Laya Malone, Joseph, Guliana, and Lucas Aliotti, Noah Flara. And many others who were blessed to call him a friend.

A celebration of life will be held August 30th at 2PM at Berea Baptist Church..
