Michael Allen Hanaway

Mr. Michael Allen Hanaway, age 62 of Waco, Ky., husband of Brenda, passed away Wednesday, July 14, 2021, at his residence.

He was born on December 8, 1958, in Indianapolis, Indiana, the son of Charles and Wilma Cooper Hanaway.  He was a self-employed truck driver who loved driving and enjoying the scenery; was a people person.  Michael was of the Baptist faith.  He had served his country in the US Armed Forces. On January 26, 1994, he was united in marriage to Brenda Hanaway, and they enjoyed 27 years together.

Those left to celebrate his life are his wife, Brenda Knuckles Hanaway of Waco, Ky; stepdaughter, Jennifer Haddix of Berea, Ky; step grandchildren, Katelyn, Karley and Cody. As well as a host of friends and neighbors.

Services will be held at Camp Nelson National Cemetery in Nicholasville, Ky. on Friday, July 16, 2021, at 1:30pm.
