Michelle Lee (Kidwell) Baker

Obituary notice:

Michelle Lee Baker, age 55 of Crab Orchard, Ky. departed this life Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2024, at Ephraim McDowell Hospital in Danville, Ky.

She was born on March 2, 1968, in Mt. Vernon, a daughter of the late William Boyd and Evelyn G.  (Pittman) Kidwell.  She had been a museum curator.  She found great joy in gardening, music, singing, animals, and spending time with her family.

Those left to celebrate her life are her husband, Mark Baker;  her children: Amber Tucker of Livingston, Ky; Sarah Green (Austin) of London, Ky; and  Betsy Baker of Lexington, Ky;  her grandchildren: Liam Tucker, Nymeria Green, Cameron and Killian Baker, and
Evelyn Michelle;  her brothers: Keith Kidwell (Steven) of Nashville, TN; and Billy Kidwell of Livingston, Ky;  her sisters: Sheila Polly of London, Ky; Tammy Kidwell of Roundstone;  Heather Kidwell of Mt. Vernon, Ky; ; .  As well as a host of nieces/nephews, friends and neighbors.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Paul Kidwell.

A memorial service for Michelle Baker will be scheduled at a later date.
