OBITUARY  NOTICE:

Nicole Annette Cotton, age 31 of Mt. Vernon, Ky., passed away Friday,  March 1^st , 2013 at Rockcastle Regional Hospital.

She was born on August 24, 1981 in Corbin, Ky., a daughter of Kinna  Darlene Blackburn  Cotton and Cecil Ray Smith.  She was of the Pentecostal faith and enjoyed spending time with her children .

Nicole will be lovingly remembered by her mother, Kinna Darlene Cotton of Mt. Vernon, Ky. ; her father-Cecil Ray (Debbie) Smith of Mt. Vernon, Ky;  three children-Kira Deatherage of Mt. Vernon, Ky; Cassie Smith of Mt. Vernon, Ky; and Tyler Howard of Mt. Vernon, Ky; Two brothers-Curtis Lee Cotton (Rachel) of Campbellsville, Ky.  And  Scottie Cotton (Crystal) of Orlando, Ky;  A sister-Susan Rae Coffey (Anthony) of Mt. Vernon, Ky;  an Aunt & Uncle-Rhonda and Darrell Payne  of Mt. Vernon, KY.; A special cousin-Paul Payne of Mt. Vernon, Ky; her maternal grandmother-Ann Blackburn of Mt. Vernon, Ky. As well as a host of friends/neighbors, Aunts/Uncles, nieces & nephews.

Visitation for Nicole Annette Cotton will be Monday, March 4, 2013 from 6-9PM at Brush Creek Holiness Church and Tuesday, March 5, 2013 from 12:30PM until time of service.  Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, March 5, 2013 at 2PM at Brush Creek Holiness Church with Bro. Lonnie McGuire officiating; burial will follow in the Red Hill Cemetery.

Casket bearers were:  Scotty Cotton, Curtis Cotton, Kevin Falin, Paul Deatherage Jr, Darrell Payne, Paul Payne, Jon Cromer, Kojak Sizemore and James Hayes.
