Nina Faye Hopkins

Mrs. Nina Faye Hopkins, age 61, of Mt Vernon, died on August 12th, 2025, at Rockcastle Regional Hospital. She was born on April 25th, 1964, in Stanford KY. The daughter of the late Nina Mayhew and Robert Hopkins.

Survivors: 1 daughter Melissa (Tiney) Weaver; 2 sons, Frankie Weaver & John Saylor. She has 1 Brother Robert (Bud) Hopkins, 3 sisters: Jeannie (Michael) Pittman, Pat Mayhew (Brandon Plymale), Una Singleton.

She has 3 grandchildren: Jacklin Weaver (Shaun Jones), Virgie (Enrique) Botellos, Tiney Weaver Jr. (Emily Ashcraft).

She has 5 great grandchildren: Luna, Lillia, & Atlas Botellos: Aliveah & Elijah Weaver.

Preceded in death by her mother Nina Mayhew and her father Robert Hopkins, 1 great grandchild Baby Jones, 1 brother-in-law William “Roe” Mullins, 1 ex-husband Billy Weaver, and her latest love Ivan Norris Singleton.

Visitation for Nina will be Wednesday, August 20th, from 5-6pm at Owens Chapel. Funeral service will follow at 6pm with Bro. Jack Weaver officiating. Burial will follow in Tom Stevens Cemetery.

Casket bearers are Frankie Weaver, Tiney Weaver, Tiney Weaver Jr, Shaun Jones, Junior James, Brandon Plymale, Jacob Dunn, and Enrique Botellos.
