Nora Ross

Nora Ross, age 64 of London, Ky. departed this life on Thursday, June 29, 2023 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, Ky.

She was born on December 10, 1958 in Mt. Vernon, Ky., a daughter of the late Kinky Winstead and Florence Hoskins Winstead. She had been an RN at  St. Joseph Health in London, Ky. for 37 years. Nora found great joy in spending time with her family particularly her grandchildren.

Those left to celebrate her life are: Her mother, Florence Winstead of Brodhead, Ky; Her children: Billy Combs & Stephanie of Lancaster, Ky; Leah Combs Fields of Brodhead, Ky; and Carrie Ross Thompson of London, Ky.  Her grandchildren: Raelyn Combs, Kenzie Fields, Madilyn Combs, Kenny Lee Thompson and Eli Combs. Her brother: Clinton Winstead of New York and nephew Alex Winstead of Maryland . As well as friends and neighbors.

Memorial service/ Visitation only, Monday, July 3rd, 2023 from 6-8pm at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals.

In lieu of flowers, donation may made in Nora’s memory, to St. Jude’s.
