Norma Gaye Reams

Mrs. Norma Gaye Reams age 65 of Mt. Vernon died Thursday June 6, 2024 at the UK Hospital in Lexington, KY.

Norma is survived by her three children Delia ( Dee) Reams-Mays (Richard) of Mt. Vernon; Jared Reams of Mt. Vernon and Mikah (Danielle) Reams of Mt. Vernon.  She also leaves behind three grandchildren: Javan Hasty, Skyler Durham, and Robert Reams all of Mt. Vernon.  Special friend, Lisa Akney of Xenia, OH. Special cousins, Shirley Parks of Humble, TX and Buffy Wheeler of Columbia, MO.

She worked for Rockcastle 911 for 21 years.  She also enjoyed watching her three grandchildren play baseball and her two sons race at Rockcastle Speedway.  She was active in the Rockcastle Historical Society.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Sue Cox and three brothers, John Koch, Frank Koch and Dale Barham all of Dayton, OH.

Memorial service for Norma Reams will be Saturday, June 15, 2024 from 12Noon-2PM at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals with Bro. Jason Medley officiating.
