Obituary
Ottie Monroe Kirby, age 60, of Mt. Vernon, passed away Tuesday, May 31, 2022, after a brief illness.
Ottie was born on August 28, 1961, in Mt. Vernon, KY, a son of the late Tom Ed and Mazie Delores (Marler) Kirby.
Those left to celebrate his life are his wife Kathy Stewart, a sister Donna Jean (Kirby) Cromer, one nephew Ben Cromer & Cory, and a great nephew Sam McGuire.
He was preceded in death by his parents Tom & Mazie Kirby, brother-in-law Benny Cromer, niece and nephew April & Ryan McGuire, paternal grandparents Ott and Katie (Renner) Kirby, and maternal grandparent Edith Marler Payne.
Services for Ottie will be held at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals on Monday, June 6, 2022, beginning with the visitation at 11am, until the time of the funeral at 2pm, with Jason Brown officiating.
