Patricia Violet Thacker

Patricia Violet Thacker, age 69 of Lexington, KY passed away Saturday, March 6, 2021 at St. Joseph Health Care in Lexington, KY.

She was born on November 18, 1951, the daughter of the late Hubert and Zella Martin Thacker.  She was a retired Correction Officer with Kentucky State Prisons, was of the Baptist faith, and enjoyed Bingo, The Red Mile, and helping people.

Those left to celebrate her life are her nieces: Marlene Lawson (Terry) of Wildie, KY, Sonja Bratcher (David) of Crab Orchard, KY, Leandra Greene (Tommy) of Murfreesboro, TN, Melanie Parsons (Chris) of Conway, KY, Amy Thacker of Allentown, PA, and Jeana Thacker of Lexington, KY. Her brothers-in-law: Austin Leach of Milton, TN, and William K. Bullen Sr. of Crab Orchard, KY.  Her sisters: Ruby Lawson (Bob) of Berea, KY, and sister-in-law, Susanne Thacker of Conway, KY.  

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Bobby Thacker and sisters, Ruth Thacker, Betty Sue Bullen, and Maggie Mae Leach, and her nephew, William K. Bullen, Jr.

Visitation for Patricia Thacker will be Wednesday, March 10, 2021 from 11A-2PM at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals, with funeral services following at 2PM with Bro. James Hardin officiating.  Burial will follow in the Scaffold Cane Cemetery.
