Patsy Joan Morgan

Obituary notice:

Mrs. Patsy Joan Morgan, age 76 of Mt Vernon, departed this life on Monday, October 23, 2023, at the Terrace Nursing and Rehab Facility in Berea, Ky.

She was born on March 7th, 1947, in Brodhead, Ky., the daughter of the late Theodore and Verla Scott. On June 1st, 1968, Patsy married David Edward Morgan. She retired from Brodhead Elementary School.  She was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed reading, “thrifting” and spending time with family and friends.

Those left to celebrate her life are her husband; David Edward Morgan (Mt Vernon) 2 Daughters; Satica Lynne Morgan (Richmond) Sonia Lee Morgan (Palm Beach, FL) One brother; Gary Scott (Vicki),(Brodhead). As well as a host of friends and neighbors.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Theodore Albert Scott and Verla Francis Scott, Two sisters; Jealen Marcum and Carolyn Scott.

Visitation for Patsy will be Wednesday, Oct. 25th, 2023, from 11am-1pm with Funeral at 1pm at Marvin E Owens Home for Funerals. Burial will follow at Piney Grove Cemetery with Bro. Buford Parkerson officiating. Pall bearers are ; Corey Scott, Joseph Coffey, David Coffey, Matthew Hayes, Charles Bullens, Chris Woolums.
