Paul Baldwin Obituary

Mr. Paul Elmer Baldwin, age 83, husband of Loretta, of Crab Orchard, KY, passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, December 11, 2018.

Paul was born in Morris Creek, KY, on February 2, 1935, a son of the late Coy Baldwin, and the late Martha Ella Fields Baldwin. On June 11, 1955, Paul was united in marriage to his wife of 63 years, Loretta Mae Owens Baldwin. He was former Mayor of Slaty Branch, and worked as a supervisor for highway construction. He was a member of Crossroads Assembly of God, in Brodhead, and he found great joy in farming.

Those left to celebrate his life are: his wife: Loretta Mae Owens Baldwin; a daughter: Pamela J. King and Wayne of Crab Orchard, KY; his grandchildren: Stephanie King West (Travis), and Melissa King Feldman (Justin); his great-grandchildren: Tyler West, Luke West, Kadyn Feldman, Jacob West, and Emerson West; two brothers: Walter Baldwin of Brodhead, KY, and Estil Baldwin and Brenda of Crab Orchard, KY; as well as a host of many friends and neighbors.

Besides his parents, Paul was preceded in death by a daughter: Connie Jane Smith; three brothers: John Baldwin, Wayne Baldwin, and Marion Baldwin; and a brother-in-law: Frank Owens.

Visitation for Mr. Baldwin will be Thursday, December 13, 2018 from 6pm-9pm at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals. Funeral will be Friday, December 14, 2018 at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals at 1pm, with Bro. Steve VanHook officiating. Burial will follow in the Freedom Cemetery.
