Paula Daniels

Paula Daniels, age 54 of Mt. Vernon, departed this life on Thursday,  August 31, 2023 at Stanford Care in Rehabilitation in Stanford, Ky.

She was born on May 30, 1969 in Cincinnati, Ohio, a daughter of the late Grover James and Peggy Sue Rutherford Nevels. Paula was of the Baptist faith and she enjoyed yard selling, flea markets and spending time with her grandchildren.  On March 16, 1987 she was united in marriage to Wesley Daniels and from that union came four children: Jason, James, Justin and Brittany.

Those left to celebrate her life are: her husband, Wesley Daniels of Mt. Vernon; his children: Jason (Marie) Daniels of Orlando; James (Jamie) Daniels of Mt. Vernon; Justin Daniels of Somerset, Ky; and Brittany (Gary) Ramsey of Mt. Vernon, Ky;  Fourteen grandchildren; her brother: James “Whity” Nevels of Somerset, Ky; her sisters: Jackie Whitis of Somerset, Ky; and Tabitha Shackleford of Grant Co. Ky; special family friends Joseph and Janice Neikirk,  As well as a host of nieces/nephews, friends and neighbors.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by grandchild: Tyler Ramsey; three brothers and five sisters. 

Cremation was chosen, and a memorial service will be Saturday September 9 at Northside Baptist Church at 6 PM.
