Pauline-Farley (Smith) DeBord

Pauline Smith Farley DeBord, age 93, of Somerset, Ky, passed away Thursday, January 29th, 2026, at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.

She was born February 15th, 1932, in Somerset, Ky. A daughter of the late Alfred “Dee” and Rosie Pruitt Smith.  On March 25th, 1950, she married Miller DeBord (1987) and from that union came five children, Milton, Patsy, Danny, David, and Tony.

She was a long-time member of Poplar Grove Baptist church. She enjoyed sewing, quilting and cooking, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family.

Pauline is survived by her children; Milton Lee DeBord of Somerset, Patsy Nevels (Duayne) of Bronston, Danny DeBord (Vicki) of Brodhead, and Tony DeBord (Maria) of Harrodsburg, her grandchildren; Laurie Goff (Robin) of Somerset, Richard DeBord (Jessica) of Somerset, Jessica Collins (A.C) of London, Rachel Shoemake (Josh) of Somerset, Susan Heath (Scott) of Somerset, Charlotte Norton ( Martin Scruggs) of Somerset, James DeBord (Abby) of Somerset, David Allen DeBord (Kayla) of Mt. Vernon, Latasha DeBord of Somerset, Step- grandchildren David and Nancy Mercado. One brother, Bill Smith (Barb) of Somerset. One sister, Ernestine (James Whitis) of Somerset.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband; Miller DeBord (1987), one child; David DeBord. Her brothers; JW Smith, OD smith, ME Smith, Rocky Smith, one infant brother, and sister Dora Alama Smith. One great-grandchild, Chance Shoemake.

Visitation for Pauline will be Monday, February 2nd, 2026, at Owens Chapel, from 12 - 1pm. Funeral service will follow at 1pm with bro. Jack Stallsworth officiating. Burial will follow in Poplar Grove cemetery.
