Pauline (Brooks) McGuire

Mrs. Lena Pauline (Brooks) McGuire, age 78, of Crab Orchard, KY, passed away Monday, September 21, 2020, at her residence.

Pauline was born March 31, 1942 in Germantown, OH, to the late Charles Leornard and Bessie (Peters) Brooks. She married Wilbur McGuire on January 11, 1961 and from that union came two children:  Tressia and Marie. She worked at National Casket Company and Citizens Bank, was a member of the Valley Baptist Church, enjoyed fishing, yard sales, puzzles, and Kentucky Explorer Magazine.

Those left to celebrate her life are her husband of 59 years, Wilbur Edward McGuire; two daughters:  Tressia (Wayne) McHone of Berea, KY, Marie (Jeff) Thacker of Copper Creek, KY; eleven grandchildren:  Leah (Travis) Stanley, Jamie McHone, Katelynn (Ethan) McClure, Jacklynn Thacker (Logan Kidwell), Michael Thacker, Justin (Samantha) Thacker, Christy (Brandon) Gabbard, Suzzie (Brian) VanWinkle, LeAnna Thacker, Donnie Thacker, David Thacker (Ashley Pike); great-grandchildren: Raelynn Stanley, Kendal Rader, Payton McClure, Silas Kidwell, Savannah and Braden Thacker, Rylee and Brantlee Thacker, Jaxon and Ava VanWinkle, Cailee, Carter, Arlie; and one brother:  Ralph Edward Brooks.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother: Ernest Brooks, and one sister:  Edith Burdette.

Visitation for Pauline McGuire will be Tuesday, September 22, 2020 from 6-9pm at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals.  Funeral services will be Wednesday, September 23, 2020 at 1pm at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals with Jeff Draper officiating. Burial will follow in the Saylor Cemetery.  Casket bearers are Michael, Justin, and David Thacker, Travis Stanley, Ethan McClure, and Logan Kidwell.
