Pearlie Mae Alcorn

Pearlie Mae Alcorn, age 63 of Brodhead, Ky, passed away Thursday December 5th, 2024, at her residence.

She was born on November 10th, 1961, in Mt Vernon, Ky., a daughter to Billy Brummett and Martha (Blanton) Smithern.  She was a manager of an adult day care center. She enjoyed crocheting, collecting frog figurines, and spending time with family. On February 21st,1999, she was united in marriage to the late Ray Alcorn, who passed away on October 2nd, 2011.

Those left to celebrate her life are mother; Martha Smithern, her son; Jason Stewart; her grandson: Jalon Stewart, one great grandchild; Sebastian Shannon, one brother; Jeff Smithern (Pepper)of Brodhead. Two nieces; Brooke (Alex) and Katie.

 Besides her father she was preceded in death by her father that raised her, Don Smithern, one child: Derick Rash.

Visitation for Pearlie will be Saturday, December 7th, 2024, from11am-12PM at the Marvin E. Owens chapel. Funeral service will follow at 12pm with Bro. John McPheron officiating.  Burial will follow in Ottawa Cemetery.
