Peggy Sue (Sutton) Edwards

OBITUARY NOTICE:

Peggy Sue Edwards, age 67, departed this life on Monday, March 16th, 2026, at her residence in Brodhead. Peggy was born on June 22nd, 1958, a daughter to the late Millard and Betty Miller Sutton. On December 19th, 1982, she married David Edwards and they were married for 43 years, from that union came one child, Daniel Edwards.

Peggy retired from the Public Works Dept. in the town of Mooresville, IN. She attended Mt. Zion Baptist Church, and she enjoyed Fishing, Birdwatching, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Peggy was a woman of strong opinions, and of strong heart, those who knew her felt this deeply, she will be dearly missed.

Those left to celebrate her life are her husband; David Edwards, her son; Daniel Edwards, her granddaughter Bailey Edwards, her sisters; Tanagene Blanton of Brodhead, Judy Stevens of CA.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Tony Michael Sutton.

A private graveside service will be at Piney Grove Cemetery on Thursday, March 19th, 2026, at 12pm with Bro. Nathan Deleon officiating.
