Rachel (Burdett) Cromer

Ms. Rachel Cromer, age 77, of Brodhead, departed this life on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, at  Rockcastle Regional Hospital in Mt. Vernon, Ky.

She was born on August 1st, 1948, in Berea, Ky.  A daughter of the late Roleigh and Martha Berry Burdett. Rachel was of the Baptist faith, she was a cook and a homemaker, and she enjoyed spending time with family and friends. 

Those left to celebrate her life are her children; Gale Cromer (Tim Philpot) of Brodhead, Cindy Johnson (Gary) of Brodhead, her grandchildren; Destiney and Heather Johnson, Heyleigh and Alex Philpot, her great grandchildren; Kyrie, Jesse, Emmitt, Mateo, Achilles, her sister June Coleman (Danny).

She was preceded in death by her parents.
